Starting therapy with your child may seem like heading into the unknown, but with the right people by your side, it can be an effective and positive experience.

At every session we take a ‘listen first’ approach to gain a detailed understanding of your child’s and family’s unique circumstances so we can tailor the therapy journey to best suit your child’s goals.

Getting to know you and your family is key to making you feel comfortable about the process.

We’ll work with you at every stage to explain why we’re doing what we’re doing and what we are working towards.

With multiple therapists and disciplines working together, we can provide comprehensive, collaborative, family-centred service to children and families within one therapy centre, allowing children and families to feel comfortable in a single environment.

We deliver our services in a variety of settings, including telehealth, home visits, school/early learning centre visits and at our clinic in Bondi Junction, where it’s most beneficial for supporting your child.

We are a passionate team dedicated to empowering families and nurturing self-management skills for future independence.

We help with a range of challenges from simple to more complex, providing assessments and effective interventions for neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism (ASD), ADHD, down syndrome, global developmental delay, selective mutism and more.

Our support is evidence-informed, addressing speech and language difficulties, motor coordination and muscular disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties, and sensory processing challenges.

Additionally, for children over the age of 2, we offer feeding and mealtimes assessments and therapy interventions.

Our mealtimes team can assist with managing difficulties with eating or drinking, including swallowing (dysphagia), food refusal and sensory issues, and disordered eating.

And, if the help of another medical professional is needed, we can help with referrals.

How we can help your child

From early intervention support to therapy services, we offer tailored plans that support your child’s development.

Psychology service

Our psychology service extends support for mental health challenges, such as anxiety, low mood, behaviours of concern, school refusal, trauma, and attachment issues, oppositional and defiant behaviours, grief, sleep issues, anger, ASD and more.

We foster mental wellbeing through resilience building and preparing for life transitions, and we can offer your child psychometric assessments and support for ADHD, specific learning disorders (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia) and giftedness.

Our psychology service can also support your family with parent coaching and skill building, along with formal programs such as Circle of Security.

All our therapists are mental health aware and also trained in trauma-informed practice.

We operate within a family-centred model, which means we collaborate closely with your family, understanding your unique circumstances, to determine the supports and interventions that will best suit your child and family.

This family-centred approach is key to creating positive outcomes for your family and child, ensuring a partnership that respects your family’s journey and your child’s specific needs.
