On the 11th of April 2025, Shaun Connelly, Shannon Weatherall, and Jenn Teng from our Hawthorn clinic proudly represented Early Start Australia at the Source Kids Expo held at the Melbourne Convention Centre.

And what a fantastic day it was!

The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as we had the chance to connect with so many incredible people—families, school principals, support coordinators, support workers, fellow allied health professionals, and service providers from across the industry all learning about what we do, the supports we can provide, and who else in the industry we can reach out to.

The event offered a brilliant opportunity not only to share more about what we do at ESA, but also to learn from others and engage in meaningful conversations.

I think our favourite part was meeting the many wonderful young people and children who stopped by the booth to bounce balloons, pop bubbles and take a few of our fidgets 😊.

The joy, curiosity, and smiles we encountered made the day truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone, including our current ESA clients, who came along and said hello!

The Source Kids Expo continues to be such a valuable space for building community, sharing knowledge, and celebrating the work we all do to support children and families.

…And yes, we did get a few looks in the fire engine but who could miss up an opportunity!?
