Early Start’s Ready for Primary School program provides practical, targeted support to help your child transition confidently into their new learning environment.
Working alongside an experienced therapists, we work with you, your child, and, where appropriate, their future school to identify potential challenges, build essential skills, and put effective supports in place before school begins.
The program helps children develop the confidence, independence, and readiness needed to participate successfully in both the academic and social aspects of school life. It also helps families and schools understand the accommodations and strategies that may support your child’s individual needs.
A tailored package of therapy sessions with you and/or your child is supported by carefully selected digital resources and, when needed, direct collaboration with the school.
Four steps to a successful school transition
Identify potential challenges
Together, understand how your child’s unique strengths and abilities may interact with the practical, social, and learning demands of primary school.
Focus on key priorities
Together, we identify the two or three areas most likely to influence a successful transition and develop strategies to address them effectively.
Build skills and confidence
Your child has opportunities to practise important skills, routines, and coping strategies with therapist support, helping them feel prepared before school starts.
Develop effective supports
We work with families and schools to establish practical strategies and supports that help your child thrive and make the most of their strengths from day one.

Ready for Primary School program equips families, children, and educators with the knowledge, skills, and supports needed to make the transition to primary school as smooth and successful as possible.
Program runs across 4-6 sessions with targeted digital resources via our Wellbeing app.
Fee starting from $776
Best suited for children aged around 4-6 years approaching school entry where parents or educators have identified concerns about successful participation in the school environment.
