Therapy services to help you thrive

Early Start Australia Oakleigh opened in 2022 after the merger of two local clinics.

Our multidisciplinary clinic offers occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, and positive behaviour support for your child and family.

Beginning therapy with your child can seem like heading into the unknown, but with the right people at your side, it can be a highly effective and positive experience.

We tailor each child’s therapy journey to best suit their circumstances and approach every session with optimism and the willingness to listen and share.

Sharing information and getting to know you and your family is key to making you feel comfortable about the process.

We’ll work with you at every stage to explain why we’re doing what we’re doing and to check that it’s in line with your expectations.

With multiple therapists and disciplines working together, we can provide comprehensive collaborative family-centred services to your child and family within one therapy centre.

Support from 0 to 17 years, for all needs and abilities

Our team are experienced in supporting clients with speech sounds, language delay, play skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, emotional regulation, sensory regulation, social skills, executive function, depression, anxiety, attachment and more.

We’re here to support children and young people with managing transitions such as school readiness and learning support through primary and high school.

We offer a range of screeners and assessments to help you understand your child’s strengths and areas for development.

Therapy supports are not confined simply to the clinic. We can support your child in their community, such as school, childcare, kinder or at home, where it best aligns with therapy goals.

We also support early learning centres with Innovative Solutions Support funding, professional development and program development.

And our clinicians are trained to provide high-quality, engaging therapy via telehealth when travel is not possible. It’s collaborative support that’s family-centred and neurodiversity affirming to support your child in all their daily environments.
