That’s why we’ve developed a graduate program that will help boost your confidence, as well as your skills and give you the best start in your career. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, building friendships and learning from each other along the way. Our structured mentoring and buddy support will help you to grow and progress, as you make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

What to expect
When you join our Graduate program, you will:
- Be part of a friendly, social and collaborative multi-disciplinary team of health professionals
- Deliver evidence-based early intervention and therapy services in a fun, engaging and meaningful way to children, young adults and families, to help them meet their growth and development goals
- Complete a graduate induction with ongoing development support over the 12 months of your program
- Have a dedicated buddy to help you settle in and fortnightly technical training to boost your clinical skills and confidence
- Be mentored by an experienced clinician and with a senior clinician to support your career ambitions for the future
- Be offered a permanent full time or part time position
- Receive benefits including flexible working hours, a competitive salary and a professional development allowance.
Who we are
Early Start Australia is committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children, young adults and families. We are a growing organisation with over 48 clinics, located across every state and territory in Australia.
Our dedicated teams of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and speech pathologists work with children to help them meet their growth and development goals.
We focus on supporting these children, and their families and carers, to develop language, motor, cognitive, social and emotional skills and provide therapeutic support for children with developmental delays or disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Early Start Australia are part of the APM Group, a health and human services provider, with a team of over 9,000 people across 11 countries.

Watch Louis’ graduate experience
After initially pursuing another degree and finding it wasn’t the right fit, Louis was inspired to pursue occupational therapy after his grandmother had a hip replacement.
A work experience in his final year of study gave him the direction he knew he wanted to take in his career.
After joining the ESA Graduate program at the beginning of 2021, with the support of his mentor he lay the foundation of a solid career.
