Eligibility for NDIS autism support requires meeting the following criteria: be aged under 65 years, reside in Australia as an Australian citizen or hold a Permanent or Protected Special Category Visa, and have a disability that is caused by a permanent impairment or disability.
As a List A condition, autism is typically classified as likely eligible for NDIS funds. However, individuals with a Level 1 diagnosis may need to provide additional information to support their eligibility for funding, whereas those with Level 2 or 3 diagnoses are generally considered eligible.
How does NDIS autism therapy work?
