Has your child just been diagnosed with ADHD and you’re not sure what’s next?

The Early Days with ADHD is a short-term program for families who want to make everyday routines, transitions and family life easier. It provides short-term therapist guidance over 3-4 sessions to turn a new diagnosis into clear priorities, practical strategies and a better understanding of what support may be needed next.

Delivered across clinical sessions and/or via telehealth, the program can include pre-school observation where appropriate, supported by digital resources to support between sessions.

Four steps to turn a new diagnosis into clear priorities

Understand what ADHD may mean for your child’s everyday life

Explore how ADHD affects daily life, understand your child’s needs, and identify strengths that can support their development and learning.

Choose the first areas where support could make family life easier

With therapist guidance, you will identify one or two priority areas where practical strategies can make the greatest immediate difference.

Practise simple strategies you can use at home and in early learning settings

Learn and practise everyday strategies that support your child’s social interactions and family routines, while considering whether further support may be useful.

Plan the next steps that feel right for your child and family

Plan next steps, clarify how to respond to social challenges, and understand which funded programs or services may best suit your child’s needs.

The program runs across 3-4 sessions after diagnosis with targeted digital resources via our Wellbeing app.

Fees starting from $582

Best suited to families of pre-school aged children up to 6 years old who have recently received an ADHD diagnosis and seeking strategies for what’s next.
